Tom Roundtree, an avid bike rider, was on the Montour bike trail when he was struck by a minivan. As he tells it, his entire upper body was “shattered.”

Thankfully, the trauma team at UPMC Mercy was able to put him back together again. His wife calls him “a walking miracle.” Six months after his accident, he was back on his bike.
