Winter is around the corner (or depending on where you live, it’s already happening), and while we say goodbye to beautiful fall foliage, we must say hello to unrelenting snow and unfavorable, sometimes dangerous, driving conditions.
Ice, sleet, and snow. Fallen trees and power lines. The often overlooked other drivers sliding out of control. Frozen fuel lines and dead batteries. These hazards are sometimes unavoidable, so it’s crucial that you’re prepared in case of an emergency by stocking the trunk of your car with these winter survival supplies. In addition to the usual, year-round staples for on-the-road emergencies, make room in your trunk for some other items that may prove helpful this winter should a snowy, slippery situation arise.
