Rethinking Concussions: Hosted by Hannah Storm Featuring Dr. Collins and UPMC Patients and Dale Earnheardt Jr.

Each year, nearly 3.8 million concussions related to sports and recreational activity occur. Up to 40 percent of concussions go undetected or unreported.

No two concussions are alike – just like the experiences each person feels while suffering from one. In this video, listen as UPMC patients and their families share their personal experiences with concussion, interviewed by ESPN’s Hannah Storm. Dale Earnhardt Jr., one of the patients, chose UPMC for his concussion management and recovery in 2012 and 2016.
