almond butter strawberry banana overnight oats

Overnight oats make a creamy, delicious breakfast with no cooking required. High in dietary fiber, unsaturated fats, and omega-3 fatty acids, this recipe also has no added sweeteners.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, mashed
  • 1¼ cups skim or 1% milk
  • ½ cup nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 10 strawberries, diced
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Recipe Serves: 4 servings

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix the mashed banana, milk, and yogurt.
  2. Stir in the oats, chia seeds, and strawberries.
  3. Divide the mixture evenly between 4 mason jars or custard cups. Cover and place in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. In the morning, top each serving with ½ tablespoon almond butter.
