Paediatrician doctor

UPMC has multiple pediatric centers in the communities south of Pittsburgh – serving the children at the center of your world.

UPMC Children’s Express Care in West Mifflin is located in the UPMC Outpatient Center on Clairton Blvd. Open seven days a week in the evenings and on weekends, the clinic is a convenient source for medical services when your regular primary care pediatrics office is closed.

Pediatric Care, Closer to Home

South Hills families also have access to exceptional pediatric specialty care, closer to home at UPMC Children’s Specialty Care Center Washington. The center opened in fall 2020 and houses highly skilled specialists who provide outpatient pediatric care and services, such as diagnostic evaluations and follow-up care. And, in the evenings, UPMC Children’s Express Care at Washington Hospital is open in the same suite.

Along with these two additions to the neighborhood, caregivers have even more local pediatric options. Children’s South in Bridgeville places UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh’s nationally ranked specialty care, including pediatric outpatient, primary, and after-hours care, in one highly visible, family-friendly, and easily accessible facility.

Plus, UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics provides standard well and sick care for children, as well as a variety of specialty services at more than 50 locations throughout western and central Pennsylvania.

“At UPMC Children’s, we are committed to improving access to our board-certified pediatricians to ensure that every child lives close to compassionate, high-quality pediatric experts right in their community,” says David Wolfson, MD, pediatrician and medical director of UPMC Children’s Community Pediatrics.
