Children can get sick at any time, sometimes without warning. It might be difficult to schedule an in-person visit with your child’s pediatrician when that happens.
Video visits with UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare can help solve some pediatric problems without you ever leaving the house. You and your child can meet with one of our pediatric health care providers to get care for some illnesses and injuries.
The service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Children from newborns to age 17 can get treatment through UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare.
The video visits are safe, secure, and HIPAA-compliant.

If your child is sick and needs care, here’s how you can set up a pediatric video visit with UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare:
- Log in by visiting anywherecare.upmc.com or opening the UPMC AnywhereCare app on your phone or tablet.
- Select “UPMC Children’s AnywhereCare” from the services page.
- You can search for a specific provider or choose to see the next available provider.
- After choosing a provider, complete a short survey about the reason for your child’s visit.
- After completing the survey, the video visit will begin.
During the video visit, a member of our pediatric care team will review your child’s medical history, ask about their current illness, and answer any questions you might have. They can provide a diagnosis if one is needed and suggest the next treatment options. They also can prescribe medication if it is necessary.
